Since our Inception in 1951 we have been helping kids grow and develop into footballers and this will never stop!
Since 2021 we have partnered with the excellent Villarreal CF Academy coaches to deliver a range of structured training to individual VALE players and teams. Villarreal CF is a Spanish football club that competes at the highest level in LaLga and European competitions (2022 – Cup Winners). They are in the top tier of European football team with a rich history of trophies and player development. Their connection to the club gives our players unparalleled access to UEFA qualified coaches, a modern possession based approach to play with the fun of the Spanish flair and culture! We have a long term agreement together to grow and develop the best talents we have in our community football teams.

MVFC – Individual Development Program;
We run additional paid training delivered at an extremely economical rate to our club patrons. These sessions are in small groups (less than 10 per coach) to ensure that each child received regular and constructive attention. They will also learn some spanish!
TERM TIME: 10 weeks Programs run 4 time a year aligned with the NSW schools calendar. For $20ph MAX you can sign up for a season of weekly or bi-weekly sessions at David Thomas Reserve. Products are available to purchase through Playfootball – Click here!

MVFC – Team Development Program
For a flat rate any team can access a 1hour session with two of our Development Program coaches to work on a specific type of play / issues / training refresher. These slots are in high demand so please book / plan well in advance.
In 2021 our top graded teams in U9, W9, received this training for FREE by the club! : Manly Vale then became the No1 pathway into Manly United U9 reps.
In 2022 our top graded teams in U9, W9, U10, W10, U11, W11, were trained again FREE by the club! : Manly Vale remained the No1 pathway into Manly United U9 reps.
For 2023 our top graded teams in U9, W9, U10, W10, U11, W11, U12, W12 will receive this training is provided for FREE by the club, to help our best progress and keep pushing those kids up to the next level!
We have a long term agreement with the Villarreal CF Academy coaches and will keep adding an age group every year until all youth age group div 1 teams (U9-U18) are training. This creates a pathway for players to progress into our Mens Premier League and Womens Premier Leagues teams!
