We’re Turning 75

Brookvale United

The club began life as Brookvale United Soccer Football Club, just four years after the MWFA commenced. We remain one of the longest surviving clubs still playing as an individual entity.

1961

Becoming Manly Vale

Following a unanimous vote, the club was renamed to give the lads of the growing township a true “home town” club.

“It was decided unanimously… to change the name of club to Manly Vale Soccer Club.”
1978

Premier League Glory

The benchmark team featuring the Hennessy and Smuts brothers secured the flagship Men’s Premier League title for the first time.

  • Men’s Premier League Champions
1980-81

The Undefeated Era

A golden generation of juniors, including future Socceroo Ian Gray, went undefeated for years and won back-to-back State Cups.

  • U18 State Cup Winners (x2)

The Family Club

Grounded in the legacy of families like the Wainwrights, Grecos, and Sestanoviches, we have grown to over 2,000+ active members playing the ‘Manly Vale Way’.

Want to help out?

There's lots to organise to make the year's celebrations a huge success. As a community-run club, we'd like nothing more than to have your help to pull everything together. Whether that's gathering friends and family to attend one of our event days, offering us some of your time during events or even sharing some old memorabilia we might like to put on display.

If you'd like to be involved, please contact Roy Sider.
